Drive Sober Campaign Kickoff

Join the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for a live event on Thursday, August 15 at 11 a.m. ET as we kick off the agency’s annual August/Labor Day Drive Sober High Visibility Enforcement campaign. The event will take place at the Washington, D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services Training Academy.
Speakers will include:
- Sophie Shulman, Deputy Administrator, NHTSA;
- Sergeant Curtis Patterson, DC Fire and EMS Special Operations;
- Colonel Matthew C. Packard, Colorado State Patrol;
- Jerry Ferrara, actor;
- Joshua Cagney, impact speaker; and
- Alisha Miles, impact speaker.
NHTSA’s impaired driving campaign featuring messages of Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, If You Feel Different, You Drive Different, Drive High, Get a DUI, and Ride Sober or Get Pulled Over begins on August 14 and runs through September 2.
