Join NHTSA for its 49th International Workshop on Human Subjects for Biomechanical Research. The virtual event will be held October 26 and October 27, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET daily. NHTSA’s human injury research division is hosting the workshop, and it’s intended to provide an informal forum for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of preliminary results of injury research focused on experiments involving human volunteers or surrogates. This includes crash data analysis, testing of human volunteers and surrogates, tissue testing, computational modeling, and dummy development, instrumentation, and testing.
Dr. Steven Cliff, NHTSA’s Deputy Administrator, will provide opening remarks on October 26 at 9 a.m.
