Jon Gatti
Jon Gatti, NHTSA’s Chief Financial Officer, oversees the three divisions within the agency responsible for financial management, acquisition services, and budget formulation and execution, as well as performance management. His team executes the agency’s more than $1.5 billion funding portfolio that supports NHTSA’s mission to save lives, prevent injuries and reduce economic costs due to traffic crashes.
Prior to joining NHTSA, Gatti was the CFO for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. He’s also held several budget/financial management roles at the Federal Highway Administration, including deputy CFO, budget director and budget analyst. Prior to joining the federal government, Gatti worked in the private sector in various accounting and finance roles.
Gatti received a bachelor’s degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s degree in business with a finance concentration from The George Washington University School of Business.
