Dear Mr. Milby: This responds to your October 9, 1979, letter relating to the prope classification of school buses on certification labels.; Your letter is accurate in that school buses may be designated a 'school buses' on their certification labels. The agency thinks that for the purpose of clarity the term 'school bus' should be included on the label to further clarify the particular design of the bus.
