Dear Mr. Kuzel: This is in response to your letter of February 20, 1973, concerning th use of the dealer plate number on the form required by the Federal Odometer Disclosure Requirements.; Under the Illinois procedure you describe, where the seller retains hi tags and the dealer attaches dealer tags, the number of the dealer tag may be used in the space marked as 'Last Plate Number.'; Yours truly, Richard B.
