Diaz about the combined windshield wiper-washer control symbol and the 'upright position' requirement as applied to this control identification.#The symbol combining the wiper and washer symbols as illustrated in your letter is approved for identifying the combined wiper- washer control.#The symbol placement on the combined wiper-washer control which you propose is in accordance with the intent of S4.2, since it appears upright to the driver in the 'off' position.#We appreciate your writing to us.
